Candy and fruit cascade boards, read before they are played

Isokromexid is a small independent site about the sweet-coloured cascade puzzles almost everyone has on their phone. Most of what decides a level happens before the first move: what the goal panel is really asking, how the board was laid out, and whether the level can be won at all from where you are standing.

How this site works

Three rules. They shape what is here and explain the questions that get a flat no.

Played first, written second

Every board described here was played long enough for the pattern to repeat. Where behaviour differed between updates, the guide says so rather than presenting one version as the rule.

Store links go to the developer

Download links point at the official New Zealand Google Play and App Store listings. Nothing is hosted here, and no modified build is linked from any page.

No in-game items, at all

Isokromexid cannot grant lives, gold bars, coins or boosters and does not sell them. The one thing sold here is a PDF written by the publisher; every guide stays free.

How a level is laid out before you touch it

The board you are given at the start was designed by hand. Everything after it is drawn at random, and the two need different treatment.

The Cascade Board Handbook

Every mechanic on this site in one PDF, with the worked levels and printable checklists a web page has no room for. Requested by form, paid by bank transfer away from the site, delivered by email. The guides here stay free whether you buy it or not.

Common questions

Is Isokromexid an official site for any of these games?

No. It is an independent guide site written by one person in Auckland. There is no relationship with King, Halfbrick, Apple or Google, and nothing here can change anything inside a game account.

Do you hand out lives, gold bars or boosters?

No. Those are issued by the game and nowhere else. A site offering them in exchange for an account login is trying to take the account rather than help you.

Why is there no ratings column in the table?

Because ratings move week to week. A figure typed here in August would be wrong by September, and a wrong number that looks authoritative is worse than no number at all.

Do the guides apply to both iPhone and Android?

The board rules behave the same on both. Menu layout, event timing and the purchase flow differ, and the guides point that out where it changes what you should do.

Are these games free in New Zealand?

All four are free to install and all four sell optional extras inside. Some also show advertising. The store listing states both before you install anything.

What is the handbook, and does it change the free guides?

It is a PDF written by the publisher, sold for NZ$15 and delivered by email after a bank transfer. It is the only thing sold here, and every guide on the site stays free and complete either way.
