Privacy policy

Last updated 2026-08-18

This page sets out what Isokromexid records about the people who read it, why, and what you can ask to be done about it. The site is run from Auckland for readers in New Zealand, under the Privacy Act 2020 and the information privacy principles in it.

Who is responsible

Isokromexid (isokromexid.com) is published by Liam Harrison, Auckland, New Zealand. Anything on this page, including a request to see or correct what is held about you, goes to [email protected], where a person reads it.

What is collected

  • Delivery logs. The hosting provider and the content delivery network in front of the site record the IP address, the page requested, the time, the referring page and the browser user agent for every request. These records exist so the site can be served and so abuse can be investigated.
  • Your answer to the cookie notice. Stored in your own browser, on your own device, so the notice is not shown on every page. It never reaches the server.
  • What you send through a form or by email. Your name, your email address and your message, held for as long as the correspondence needs it.

There is no account system, no newsletter and no profiling. Nothing here asks for a phone number, a postal address or a date of birth, and the site is not directed at children.

Why it is held

  • To keep the site available, correct and secure, which is the ordinary operating purpose of anyone publishing a website.
  • To answer correspondence that you start.
  • To meet a legal obligation, where one applies to a specific record.

Measurement and advertising cookies are set only if you accept them in the notice. Declining leaves every page fully readable; nothing is held back behind consent.

The two forms

There are two: one on the contact page and one on the handbook page. Both collect a name, an email address and a message; the handbook form also records which item you selected. No payment is processed anywhere on this site, so no card number, bank detail or delivery address is ever requested here.

When a form is submitted, the message is delivered to the publisher through the Telegram Bot API. That means Telegram processes the content of the message as part of transmitting it, and Telegram's own terms cover that step. It is stated here because it would otherwise be invisible to you and it is relevant to what you choose to write.

The purpose is answering you: for a general message, because you asked to be contacted; for an order, to take the steps you asked for before a contract and then to perform it. Order correspondence is kept longer than a general enquiry, because a question about a purchase can arrive months later and consumer guarantees do not end at delivery.

Each form also carries a field that is invisible to a person and only ever filled in by automated submissions. If it arrives completed, the message is discarded without being read.

Who else is involved

  • The hosting provider, which stores these files and serves them to your browser.
  • Cloudflare, which sits in front of the site as a content delivery network and processes request data to do so.
  • Telegram, for the single delivery step described above, and only if you use a form.

Fonts and stylesheets are served from this domain. No font service, tag manager, analytics provider or social widget is loaded on any page, which you can confirm in your browser's network panel in about ten seconds.

Links out to the app stores

The guides link to official Google Play and App Store listings. The moment you follow one of those links you are on Google's or Apple's site and their privacy terms apply instead of this one. Nothing comes back to Isokromexid from that visit and there is no way for this site to know whether you installed anything.

How long records are kept

Delivery logs are held for a short operational period and then discarded or reduced to aggregate counts. Correspondence is kept while the matter is live and for a reasonable period afterwards. Your cookie answer stays in your browser until you clear your browsing data, and you can remove it yourself at any time.

Your rights

Under the Privacy Act 2020 you may ask for access to the personal information held about you and ask for it to be corrected if it is wrong. Write to [email protected]; the response normally comes within 20 working days, which is the period the Act allows. For most readers the honest answer is a short-lived server log and nothing else, and that is what you will be told rather than a form letter.

If you are not satisfied with how a privacy matter was handled, you can complain to the Office of the Privacy Commissioner at privacy.org.nz. Readers in the European Union may also contact their own supervisory authority.

Changes

If this policy changes, the date at the top of the page changes with it, and anything material is described in the opening paragraph for a period afterwards rather than being introduced quietly.
